Clear Your Mind, Increase Your Capacity for Change & Vision Big This Lunar Month.
Last lunar month was eclipse season and it was potent! The Scorpio and Taurus eclipses took us deep and the only way through was to allow the process and to allow the transformation… true surrender. But this lunar month brings a frequency shift that can really support you to create some much needed mental space and also increase your capacity for transformation and evolution!
There is so much uncertainty and life is overwhelming for many of us right now but this lunar month invites you to step back from the noise and develop mindful awareness of all that has been transforming in your world. The recent cycles have been taking us into the depths of our shadows and fears and challenged our sense of security on Earth. But this lunar month begins on an almost opposite energetic frequency as the new moon is in Sagittarius and this means that the sun, the moon PLUS Venus and Mercury will all be in Sagittarius - a new vision is possible!
Sagittarius rules the sacred archer who is on a quest for knowledge, truth and greater understanding. He is constantly on a journey gathering up wisdom and knowledge and he lives for this quest as his entire life is aimed towards understanding the greater laws and truths. The human journey is also a grand quest and an adventure and at this new moon, you may be able to feel this in a way that you haven’t been able to access for a while.
We have been on such a huge journey over the last few years and this is honestly the first new moon that has a sense of being able to believe in a the future and to move forwards. There is a caveat though and that is, you can not move forwards with old ideas, dreams and goals. If there is one thing the last few years have taught us, it is that the old ways just aren’t working any more.
To get the most out of this month, create a vision based on the truth of this moment and not your dreams from the past. As I keep saying, who you thought you were going to be pre 2020 needs to be released as we continue entering a very new era of life on Earth. This doesn’t mean that we are starting from scratch, not at all, but it does require us to increase our capacity for change and to become super aware of what we thought it was going to be and to open ourselves to what it actually CAN be in the new era.
This lunar month you can start connecting with your highest vision in new ways. We have let so much go. We are being stripped back to the true essence of what truly matters and the more you allow yourself to journey with these new patterns, the more you are going to be able to embrace the new cycles and potential new ways of visioning coming through. Identifying the cycles before they begin is a sign that you are stepping into your power and that you are increasing your awareness and capacity for evolution!
By the time you get to the full moon in Gemini, you will know what you need to release with great precision as Mars is conjunct this full moon and he wants to make sure you get to the point and clear away whatever is unnecessary to create space for the new visions that will be emerging into your awareness.
Mars is still retrograde all month and is freeing up our energy to create something else in our lives. With Mars still being retrograde until mid January, it is not the best time to begin totally new projects if you can help it. It is however, a wonderful time to revisit projects and ideas that require reviving!
This month is a perfect time to seed in and empower new visions and to journey with what emerges to support these as we move towards the exciting 2023!
Major Transits for the Lunar Month
(i) JUPITER STATIONS DIRECT
November 23rd/24th - Reigniting our faith and vision!
Jupiter is the teacher and spiritual guide showing us the way towards our greatest potential! Jupiter has been retrograde since July inviting us to internalise the power of this planet making this a great time to tune into our inner wisdom and to listen to the inner guru.
Sometimes during Jupiter retrograde we struggle to feel positive and accessing faith and vision can be difficult. But now that Jupiter is stationing direct and gearing up to move forwards again, we may be able to access inspiration and vision more easily. Plus, Jupiter stations direct within minutes of the new moon in Sagittarius (which Jupiter rules) so this really may give us the collective boost that we so badly need right now to reignite faith, vision and inspiration!

(ii) VENUS BECOMING VISIBLE
End of November - The Goddess rising as the evening star.
Right now Venus is so close to the Sun that we can’t see her with the naked eye. Venus is considered to be the ruler of the feminine principle - the Goddess who rules over love, relationships, wealth and abundance. Ancient astrologers saw the time of Venus being invisible as her being in the underworld. Many people perceive this time as negative but what is also happening is that the Goddess is going through a powerful transformation. Venus invisible can actually be a powerful time for resetting and even resurrecting our relationships, finances and joy.
Venus has been in a deep transformative process beginning with her conjunction with the Sun in Libra on October 22nd which began a totally new cycle in Libra! This is a cycle that will bring us into a new expression of relationships and everything associated with Libra such as justice, fairness, equality and balancing out more of the social problems on Earth. She has been in deep conversation with the Sun discussing new strategies and approaches to the problems of greed, excess and equity on Earth.
She then journeyed through the underworld in Scorpio where she went through deeper and deeper transformation and detoxification through eclipse season and now, this lunar month she starts to rise in the evenings slowly becoming visible in Sagittarius! Once Venus is visible, we will have access to her blessings and her new powers as this recent underworld journey went deep for the Goddess.
It is considered to be a special moment when she first becomes visible to the naked eye so I suggest you try to get to a place where that has the highest point to view the sunset. Venus will gradually become visible from November 28th so get out and have a look. If you are one for ritual then you can give an offering of roses, chocolates and anything associated with Venus to invoke her blessings for love, relationships, wealth, joy and abundance!
(iii) NEPTUNE STATIONS DIRECT
December 3rd/4th - Things becoming clearer and enhanced intuition.
Neptune is the planet of compassion and is super spiritual. Neptune is where the illusion of separation dissolves and great healing can occur. When Neptune is retrograde, life can lose its sense of magic and things can feel hopeless. We can also find that things just aren’t clear and we struggle to access our intuition.
Neptune retrograde can be a cycle of going into the realms of confusion and nebulousness, so when Neptune stations direct the fog can lift, our dreams may be activated and we can connect with our spirituality in more and more profound ways. As Neptune starts moving forwards, our intuitive capacity can increase as we are more aware of our collective connection.
Embrace Neptune direct by practicing compassionate actions such as giving charity, spiritual practices, healing yourself and others and opening up your creativity.
(iv) SOLSTICE
December 21st - Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.
December 22nd - Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.
Solstice is the longest day/night and closes out this lunar month. Solstice is so close to the new moon in Capricorn on December 23rd that it hints at a time of amplified new beginnings. New themes, new approaches to Capricorn which rules power structures, governments and all big institutions are in store. There is a sense that this solstice is going to be a big push towards a new season for humanity.
To celebrate Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere - make a winter solstice lantern and leave this light on all night to call back the light and warmth of the Sun for spring and summer seasons.
To celebrate Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year in the Southern Hemisphere - share an abundant meal with family and friends to celebrate the peak of summer. Dance and gather in joy as the season turns.
Major Lunar Themes
(i) NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS
November 23rd/24th depending on where you are in the world.
After the deep, shadow dredging, soul purifying eclipse season, we all need - and deserve - something lighter and this new moon will deliver!
If the eclipses were about journeying down into the depths of our shadows, then this new moon in Sagittarius is inviting you to reflect on who you are and what else is possible as you ascend out of your underworld.
What have you discovered over the last months and weeks? What secrets were revealed? What wounds came up to be witnessed and healed? What or who was eclipsed in and/or out of your life?
Sagittarius is symbolised by the great archer who is extremely intelligent and has great capacity for seeing the bigger picture, visioning a greater future and pointing his arrow in the direction that is aimed towards the highest possible destiny.
Plus Jupiter, the ruler of the new moon, turns direct within minutes of the exact moment of this new moon! This could give us a huge injection of hope, faith, bigger visions and even feeling as though you could be dreaming in something greater for your life!
Now that you have uncovered more of the shadows, fears and stories that have been holding you back from discovering your highest potential in this life during the eclipse season, this new moon is a magical opportunity to stop and vision your best possible life.
At this new moon embrace the practice of expanding your consciousness to awaken to the greater truths and visions by meditating and becoming aware of your mind.
Sit with pen and paper, stop and reflect on what has played out over recent weeks, clear your mind and then be super honest about what is possible in your life now.
This new moon does not want you to give up on yourself or on life. Sagittarius wants you to reach for the higher truths and to believe that there is a greater meaning and a greater purpose to it all.
Jupiter moving direct will help you to feel like things can work out and maybe even reinstill some of the faith that may have been lost over recent times.
I suggest seeding in a new vision for yourself but remember that Mars is still retrograde so this really is not the best time to start something new from scratch but to allow space for something different to emerge and vision with this at this time!
(ii) FULL MOON IN GEMINI
December 7th/8th depending where you are in the world.
You really have a wonderful opportunity to create mental space and increase your capacity for change and growth at this full moon.
Gemini rules communication, the media, our minds and how we process information and when the moon is full in Gemini, all of these themes are amplified. This can be overstimulating and can even leave our minds and nervous systems feeling fried!
But you can work with the energy of this full moon by mindfully observing what is happening and creating a sacred space to work with the energy as opposed to being lost in it all.
Mars will be conjunct this full moon. Mars can act as a sword cutting through and separating things out. You may find that you have so much clarity around what was stirring and emerging during the eclipse season in the last lunar cycle!

Our relationship to the media wants to evolve. This full moon is a moment to really stop and think about what you are absorbing from the digital world. What is the quality of the information you’re engaging with? What are you focusing on (meditating on) throughout your day and in your spare time?
Mars will help you see clearly what is important and maybe even help you set some personal boundaries about how you engage with the Wild Wild Web especially as Mars conjunct this full moon in Gemini could amplify information wars and chaos… watch what happens at this time and try not to be consumed by all the noise.
Saturn is in a positive aspect inviting you to stay grounded, get really clear in your mind and access the reality of all of your personal situations so you know exactly what needs to be purified, released and detoxed at this full moon time.
With Mars retrograde and Saturn in positive aspect, getting back to projects that need your attention and getting clear will be supported.
Also, if you’re feeling activated, channel the energy that is stirred up, focus on what is important and you may find you can accomplish so much at this time.

Engage in the practices of mindfulness and meditation as this will support you to create space and awareness in your mind so that you can harness the potential that is woven into this lunar cycle to access a new and clearer vision for your life!
