This is no regular lunar month. This is Scorpio season AND eclipse season! Everything is transforming and you can embrace this!

It’s clear that we are living through a time of profound transformation. An old world is dying and a new world is birthing and this lunar month is your opportunity to recognise the collective transformation at hand, to embrace this time and to allow yourself to transform with the greater cycles!

This is a powerful month to allow a personal transformation… you may feel very different by the time you get to the new moon in Sagittarius late November.

This is an eclipse month which means that the usual lunar phases are amplified. There’s a feeling in the air that something big is coming, especially with Scorpio involved! The world is evolving and shifting at such a rapid rate and it’s a lot to manage mentally, psychically, emotionally, and physically leaving many people feeling overwhelmed, confused and even afraid.

If you are really feeling it then the Eclipses Masterclass (recorded live on October 21st/22nd) gathering may really benefit you. You don’t need to be an astrologer to benefit from this call. In this call I went through the greater cycles, the major themes of both eclipses and then I share super helpful ways to, not only work with, but to also harness these times.

The Sun moved into Scorpio on October 23rd which means we are in Scorpio season! This just adds another layer of intensity as Scorpio is the sign and season of diving deep. Scorpio rules the places we are afraid to go to, where we merge with something greater and where we surrender to this greatness as we realise that we are a part of something bigger and more mysterious than we can ever imagine.

If the thought of this stirs something in you, then this is a sign that you are getting close to the true teachings of Scorpio! Surrender to the mystery! Surrender to the profound transformation at hand! Surrender your fears and allow yourself to move with these great cycles.

At the new moon solar eclipse in Scorpio on October 25th the themes of transformation are magnified! Everything may be amplified and potentially feeling more intense at this time but as I always suggest, you can work with this and allow whatever has been hiding in your shadows to come to the light for understanding and healing.

If you are experiencing heaviness then work with this time consciously and allow yourself the space to feel what you are feeling and to be with your inner process.

If there’s something you know you need to shift then this eclipse may support you to recognise more clearly what it is and by the time we reach the full moon total lunar eclipse in Taurus, you may be ready to really shift it, heal it and let go of it once and for all!

The Taurus lunar eclipse on November 8th is a culmination point. Many things may be surfacing, coming to the light and being revealed to us under the powerful light of this full moon. But, once the moon is eclipsed by the shadow of the Earth as it blocks out the light of the Sun, a portal is created and a powerful reset can happen! Patterns shift, new energies pour into reality and old patterns can dissolve.

Eclipses are magical moments as our Earth, the Sun and the moon are all aligned and things may just line up and happen for you and not just good things but whatever is ready to ripen and happen will!

Uranus is involved in both eclipses and in fact will be a part of 6 eclipses in a row with the last Uranus eclipse to come next year! Uranus is the planet of liberation, clarity, innovation and everything that is focused on changing and evolving the patterns and with Uranus featuring so powerfully, we can expect the unexpected.

Uranus is only interested in one thing - evolution - at any and all costs! Uranus is beyond duality, beyond notions of right and wrong and is focused on waking up what is sleeping and stagnant. If there is something stuck on repeat in your life, Uranus will come through and shake it up so it can wake it up!

Where has Uranus’ lightening of truth, revelation, innovation and awakening been striking in your life?

As I have mentioned in recent snapshots, Uranus has been in this challenging and grinding square with Saturn for nearly two years now. This pattern has been symbolic of the great struggle between the old controlling and conservative values and the new, future oriented and more humanity focused values of Uranus.

But… Saturn just turned direct on October 22nd/23rd and it may seem as though the old will be winning for a while. However, with Uranus so heavily involved in the eclipses and then when Uranus starts moving direct in January 2023, big shifts and progress is still to come in the future - for the future! Uranus is faster and more progressive so it is said that Uranus wins out over Saturn!

Interesting times are ahead of us. In fact, I’ve been preparing the 2023 Astrology Forecast and I am seeing that next year is ALL about the future! Big stuff to come guys and I will definitely be writing and sharing about it for you before the end of this year!

Major Transits for the Lunar Month

(i) VENUS CONJUNCT THE SUN
All month becoming visible early December.

When Venus is conjunct the Sun she is not visible in the sky. When Venus is invisible, ancient astrologers believed that we don’t have access to her power. Venus rules over relationships, wealth, joy and all the wonderful things that make being a human enjoyable.

While Venus is in the underworld we can find our relationships are not feeling as connected so the advice is to know this and to not go into fear. If you can, wait for Venus to reappear as the evening star early December to take action on relationships, financial decisions and anything to do with abundance. We may see these issues in a new way after Venus completes her powerful transformational process in the underworld.

(ii) MARS RETROGRADE
October 30th - January 12/13

This is not really a great transit for humanity! Watch for triggers and for being triggered. Do your best to not get lost in negative thoughts as they may be amplified. We are all going through something right now, it’s not personal and everyone is in a process on some level.

Mars is still in a square to Neptune. This transit can make things confusing and fizzle out making this not the best time to initiate totally new projects. Again, we are being pushed to turn inwards over the coming weeks and to tend to our inner worlds and our inner resources.

On a more positive note, this can be an amazing time to revisit things that need a boost as Mars will be trine Saturn which makes the pieces you redo really stick as you go forwards. Saturn can help to make the changes really last.

(iii) MERCURY & VENUS CONJUNCT THE SUN IN SCORPIO
First half of November - Deep reflections.

This is such a deep introspective potentially hidden and secretive pattern. Don’t look outwards and get wiped out by the external noise, fears and anxiety. This combo is telling you that the answers you seek are within you and that your intuition is strong when you really take the time out to listen.

Major Lunar Themes

(i) NEW MOON / SOLAR ECLIPSE IN SCORPIO - October 25th everywhere in the world.

This is not a normal new moon. This is a solar eclipse new moon which takes on a totally different energy. This solar eclipse invites you to dive deep into your internal process and to tend to your inner resources.

This eclipse is conjunct the South Node which is an astrological point that is symbolic of the past, of what we need to release and what can pull us backwards in our lives. This gives this new moon very different energy that is not just about what you wish to become in this life or setting new goals as is the normal focus for new moons, but it is also about letting go.

With these multiple energies at play and with this eclipse happening in Scorpio - which is all about facing fears, surrender, diving deep internally and taking care of our shadows - I would strongly suggest that this is a time to dive deep with your personal process and allow a transformation to occur in your life.

This eclipse wants to bring what is hidden in the shadows into the light. Allow this and you may find something amazing is revealed that maybe you have been scared to acknowledge previously that is actually going liberate you once you face the fear and embrace this!

Scorpio is about power and this is a time to feel empowered and to know that you are internally resourced.

Venus is conjunct this new moon which can mean that your relationships are going through a process that may be activated at this time but not necessarily clear as Venus is invisible. This can also be the case with finances.

Be patient with these areas of your life over the coming weeks. The moment of culmination and clarity may not come until Venus becomes visible in early December.

(ii) FULL MOON / TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE IN TAURUS - November 8th everywhere in the world.

Lunar eclipses bring the potential for old negative patterns to end. You may notice abrupt and very definite endings one month before, on the day of the eclipse, or more subtly over the six months following the eclipse up to the next set of eclipses.

By the time we get to this full moon eclipse, you may have a very strong sense of what is not working in your life. If you’ve already had a sense of what is not working, then this may be a time of you feeling empowered to actually do something about it.

Lunar eclipses are powerful moments to work with truly letting go and releasing old negative patterns that you know you keep repeating and that you clearly and honestly know aren’t working! This is a powerful moment to make deep psychological changes that empower you to finally stop engaging in toxic beliefs, behaviours and stories that you honestly know need to go!

This is also a time to reflect on what you are investing in? Are you investing your time, money, energy - all of your resources - towards things that are truly important? Is what you are investing in truly valuable? Or is it excessive and unnecessary?

It is becoming clearer as each day goes by, as more species die, and as more of the planet is ravaged by severe weather events that living in excess is no longer ok. You can honestly clear whatever is excessive in your personal world at this time as a way of supporting the planet and the things that truly matter to you!

Sit in the energy of the eclipse and write down what needs to go. Be honest. The more honest you are, the more realistic you are, the more powerful this time will be for you and the more you will be supported by the greater cycles to release toxicity from your life as you bring it all back to what really matters.

Once you have cleared this all away you are left with what is valuable. Taurus rules value. Once you have cleared out the excess and toxicity, what remains is what is important and it is usually really simple and easy which is how life can be when we strip it all back to the pure essence!

In Summary:

This lunar month may force you to look some of your fears in the eyes! Do it! Scorpio season and eclipse season together, with Uranus shifting everything, Venus invisible and Mars turning retrograde… whoah… this really is the perfect time to allow your inner process, to transcend old fears and stories, to come back to what is truly valuable and to what you know matters, to release excess and to release all that stands in the way of your personal evolution!
